Hey, I've met quite a few brand owners that have become seven- or eight-figure brands solely off of Meta ads or Amazon. Yet when it comes to TikTok Shop, they have a unique challenge in getting started on the platform, and actually operating in the black. One brand owner joked with me that, despite being only 30 years old, he had already aged out of the algorithm too quickly and just didn't know what was trending anymore. Good news is I'm 21, and I've been doing tiktok organic for ecom since I was 15. More importantly, I've worked with brands that have become seven- or eight-figure brands off of Amazon and Shopify, and I've helped a lot of them launch on TikTok Shop and scale to six figures on here. Let's talk through how to do TikTok Shop at break-even or profitably instead of losing money. Sales are not the same as profitTikTok Shop can make it pretty easy to get sales, which is awesome, but can also become an issue. Every sale has new costs that come with it: - TikTok Shop transaction fee - creator commission - sending samples - shipping orders If nobody’s actually watching these costs, a great month in terms of revenue can still quietly be losing money. What I’ve found is that the problem is not usually too few sales, but instead it’s major leaks. The five leaks we see most1. Leading with the wrong product. 2. Nobody knows the real number. 3. Paying to push products that aren't selling yet. 5. Samples with no plan. Want your TikTok Shop math done for you? Book a free discovery call with my team. Put every cost on one page. 3. Guard your shop score like cash. 4. Only pour fuel on what's already burning. 5. Send samples with a plan. 6. Judge videos on profit, not views. Why this matters in 2026 and beyond TikTok Shop is already getting a lot more crowded with so many more brands, so many more offers, and so much more noise. The brands that win the biggest in 2027 will not be the ones with the most views, but they'll be the ones who know their numbers and know how to operate and build real systems on the platform. Having profit is what's going to let certain brands keep growing while their competitors are forced to quit. Want your TikTok Shop scaling done for you? Book a free discovery call with me. P.P.S. - Disclosure: Most brands that sell on TikTok Shop, including established 8-figure brands, find that reaching $200,000 a month in GMV, is extremely difficult and uncommon. Hey, Here's something we see all the time with big brands. They've got a long list of TikTok Shop creators. Many, many, many creators got samples and maybe even posted a few times, but then ultimately dropped off too quickly. And then the brand still ends up with way too little content that's actually going out. So then they try to find some new creators, and the cycle often, unfortunately, continues. Brands keep asking me: "How do we get our creators posting again?" First, you want to start...
Hey, II've been in a lot of rooms with big health and beauty brands recently. These are brands already doing seven or eight figures a year in sales and have a great product and great marketing system. But when it comes to TikTok Shop, pretty much all of them have some if not all of the following challenges. Today, I want to share the most common solutions to those challenges that we have found. 1. "We're huge everywhere else. Our TikTok Shop is a ghost town." This is the big one. A brand can...
Hey, Pretty much every brand that starts to really grow successful on TikTok Shop starts to wonder about GMV Max ads. They're not sure when to turn it on. A lot of them aren't even sure when to scale it. I was working with a brand recently that came to us after already making six figures per month on TikTok Shop until they ran into a massive problem. Their TikTok Shop ads started targeting the wrong customers. The spend was going behind the wrong videos from the wrong creators. As a result,...
